Kelchsau, the idyllic village, lies in a tributary valley of the Brixental Valley close to Hopfgarten. In winter it is particularly popular with ski tourers and is handled as an insider’s tip. The family ski area Kelchsau, which offers 16 km of perfectly groomed, wide slopes, is only 3 km from the farm. Hopfgarten, your entrance to the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental ski area, can be reached within 15 minutes by car. Cross-country ski enthusiasts will appreciate the cross-country ski trail near the house to do their rounds in this unique winter landscape with all its beauty and tranquillity.

In winter you need a 4x4 vehicle and snow chains.

Of course, Kelchsau is not only attractive in winter.
