The "House Sonnberg" is situated on a hill and surrounded by a beautiful natural scenery with an unspoilt all-round view. To the north the climbing and hiking paradise of the "Wilder Kaiser" mountains, to the east the pyramid of the "Loferer Steinberge" ridge and Mt. "Kitzbüheler Horn", to the south the ski and hiking paradise "Wilder Kaiser/Brixental" and to the west a beautiful mountain sunset. Directly at the winter and summer hiking trail, physical fitness course (Forstmeile). 800m to the bottom station of the Hartkaiser funicular, which can be reached from the house by experienced skiers. Not far from the house is the free ski bus service's stop - your transportation to the lifts and the village centre of Ellmau. The 27-hole golf course "Wilder Kaiser", the swim and wellness centre "Kaiserbad" and the cross-country trails are within 5 min. reach by car.

From Munich: Take "Kufstein West" (Road tax free/"Vignettenfrei"), direction St.Johann i.T./Felbertauern. At Ellmau take the first exit and drive past the fire station towards "Hartkaiserbahn". Follow the signs to "Mühlberg".
In winter it is recommended to have snow
