Alp feeling in stunning backdrop!

Way beyond from the diversions of daily routines, in absolute silence you will experience nature at its best and enjoy the rustic idyll in our “Stangllehen” hut, whether in togetherness, with friends or as an experience with your kids. Simple, honest, beautiful. Our hut is located on 1,100m above sea level on a private mountain pasture, in the midst of the Schladming-Tauern with a panoramic view to the Untertal and the surrounding mountains. The “Stangllehen” hut is a redecorated cottage in undisturbed privacy. In the past the hut was just a simple chalet, now there was built, in the midst of a large and gentle alpine pasture, a 100 m² holiday domicile in a modern and alpine style, which is liveable all-the-year. 8 people can be accommodated. The cottage offers a cozy and fully equipped living room with a kitchen area and wood stove, which provides heat to the ground floor in addition to the underfloor heating in the bathrooms, a dinette, a sofa with TV, 3 separate bedrooms as well 2 bathrooms. SAT-TV, 3 sun terraces, in summer a grill and a fountain, as well parking lots directly in front of the cottage are additional amenities. Around the cottage are many leisure activities such as snowshoeing, cross country skiing, sledging, walks in the snowy winter landscape, ski tours or just caper in the snow possible. But also the summer offers a wide range of leisure attractions. So for example the “Wilde-Wasser-hiking-path” pas the hut in about 100 meter distance, many further easy or exigent hikes can be started from the cottage. But also for the kids are countless adventures to discover, such as cow- (cows life in summer beside the hut) and wildlife watching, playing at the fountain, spending BBQ evenings on the terrace, fishing or using further 100 free leisure attractions with the Schladming-Dachstein Summer card, which is included in the price. In summer as well in winter the cottage is reachable by car via a forest road. If you desire privacy, like to watch already from bed the mountain panorama, but nevertheless like to reach the valley in about 15-20 driving minutes, then the “Stangllehen” hut is the absolutely right holiday domicile for you!

The cottage will be heated by a wood stove (ground floor), the heating in the bathrooms works by an underfloor heating and the bedrooms by an electric heating.

Way-description to Stangllehen Hut:
Von Deutschland über Salzburg bis Ausfahrt Knoten Ennstal/Graz auf der Autobahn (A 10), dann 18 km Bundesstraße (B 320) bis Schladming; Von Wien in Richtung Linz bis Sattledt auf der Westautobahn, dann auf der Pyhrn-Autobahn bis Liezen, danach 50 km auf der B 320 bis nach Schladming; Von Wien auf der Autobahn bis zum Semmering, danach Schnellstraße und Autobahn bis Liezen, danach 50 km auf der B 320 bis nach Schladming; Von Italien, Kärnten kommend auf der Tauernautobahn (Udine-Tarvis-Villach) bis Ausfahrt Knoten Ennstal/Graz, danach 18 km auf der B 320 bis Schladming; Aus Richtung Graz bis Liezen auf der Autobahn, Bundesstraße B 320 bis Schladming; Take the exit Schladming Middle, at the first crossing Ramsau/Schladming you turn right direction Schladming center. At the first roundabout (Billa supermarket) take the 2nd exit, 2nd roundabout (Brauerei) take also the 2nd exit in direction Rohrmoos. Follow the Rohrmoosstreet for about 2 km until you can reach the 3rd roundabout. There you take again the 2nd exit into the Tälerstraße. Follow this street now for 2,3 km in direction Untertal. At the next crossing Untertal/Obertal go left and follow the Untertalstraße/Hanglweg for further 2,1 km. Now you will reach the first bridge called Janerbrücke. Follow the street for further 100 meter and turn right in front of the next bridge. At the end of the forest road you can see on the left side the Stangllehen Hut.

Bedlinen & towels, final cleaning, electricity, water, heating and the firewood are already in the price included.
Pets are permitted - we charge per pet and per week additional € 50.
In summer some cows life beside the hut.
The hut offers SAT-TV (TV is only in the living room available), there is no Wi-Fi available.
In winter snow chains are absolutely necessary.
The living room you will heat with a wood stove (firewood is available). The heating in the bathrooms and anteroom works by an underfloor heating. In the bedrooms you will find an electric heating.
In summer three sun-terraces, a campfire with grill and fountain are available.
On arrival we charge a deposit of € 200 via credit card authorization.
