Welcome to Schladming’s hot spot – the Hotel Planai**** You won't find any hotel closer to the attractions and activities of the Schladming-Dachstein area's than this! The closest ski lift is a mere 10 Meters from the hotel! The modern and stylish hotel Planai has 94 well-equipped rooms on offer. We sell double rooms for up to 4 persons and family rooms for up to 6 persons. All rooms have their own balcony or direct access to our large sun terrace. All our prices include ½ board. Winter season: At the hotel you’ll find everything you need for a perfect ski holiday in the Alps. A restaurant to eat, a bar to drink, a sauna area to relax, a play room for children, a sun terrace to catch some sun, a garage to park your car and a ski-room to stow and dry your sports equipment. You’ll also find a small supermarket in the same building as the hotel. In our small but impeccable sauna area on the top floor with views over the rooftops of Schladming you’ll find two saunas, a steam bath, a relaxation room and a roof terrace. You can also book massages for a small surcharge. 10 Meters from the Hotel entrance the Planai-Gondola takes you up to 1.830 meters altitude, straight into the heart of the ski area. Across the hotel you will also find a sports shop with a ski rental. If you desire to start your day on a different slope, all ski buses conveniently stop in front of the hotel and bring you to all corners of the ski region. In the evenings the world-cup slope takes you almost to the front door again. Apès-Ski is best on the slopes, 200 Meters from the Hotel in the town centre, or just 100 Meters from the Hotel in the largest après-ski palace in Europe – the Hohenhaus Tenne, with room for up to 3000 party guests! Summer season: At the hotel you find everything you need for a perfect stay in the Alps. A restaurant to eat, a bar to drink, a sauna area to relax, a play room for children, a small pool to cool off, a sun terrace to catch some sun, a garage to park your car and bike-room to stow your sports gear. You’ll also find a small supermarket in the same building as the hotel. Across the hotel you will also find a sports shop with a bike rental. The local busses also stop in front of the hotel and take you to all attractions and activities in the area. The cable cars are literally on your doorstep - only 10 meters from the hotel entrance the Planai cable car will take you up the mountain and into the middle of the skiing, hiking and biking paradise that surrounds Schladming. The bus also stops right in front of the hotel and takes you to all the attractions of the region. Only about 100 meters further you’ll find the pedestrian zone of Schladming, with its cozy cafes, countless shops and great nightlife. A sports shop with bike- and ski rental is situated in the other side of the hotel, and a supermarket is located in the same building as the hotel.
