Welcome to Haus Bergland! Our house is located in Gössenberg, in the beautiful Schladming-Dachstein holiday region. In winter, you can reach the "Hauser Kaibling" ski area after an 8-10 minute drive and the "Planai" ski area in Schladming after a 13-15 minute drive. In summer, the house is a perfect starting point for trekking and mountain-bike tours to be remembered. Haus Bergland is nested amidst the Schladminger Tauern mountains. You only have to take a look out the window to enjoy a view of the breathtaking Dachstein range, the other surrounding mountains and the entire Enn Valley.

The apartment can accommodate 2-6 persons - it includes 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms as well as a kitchen with a comfortable couch, which converts into a pull-out bed that sleeps two people. Both bathrooms are fitted with a shower and toilet. The kitchen provides a large dining table and all kitchen amenities - cooking facilities, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, electric kettle and toaster. You will also find some common but important items required for a pleasant stay away from home: WiFi, coffee and filters, soap and dishwashing accessories (including tabs). Bed linen, kitchen towels, as well as hand/bath towels are included. And if you wish to enjoy some special dishes, we suggest trying out the restaurants and guesthouses in the area (the nearest restaurant is a 2-minute drive away). Kids will definitely be excited to try out the items in our playground: trampoline, slide, wooden playhouse + box, swing, inflatable castle, play tent + tunnel and a small pool.

SUMMER:

In summer, the house is a perfect starting point for trekking and mountain-bike tours in the mountain ranges surrounding our village. The popular tourist attraction “Steirischer Bodensee”, where you can enjoy delicious trout dishes but also yummy desserts, is only a 5-minute drive away. Other activities in the area include swimming, pony rides, high-altitude playgrounds, adventure parks, gondola rides (Hauser Kaibling, Planai, Reiteralm and Dachstein) and many more - and the best part is that these can all be reached in 5 to 30 minutes. From 24 May to 15 October you will get the Sommercard for free, even if you are here for only two days: More than 100 free activities, for a perfect stay!

WINTER:

Experience the fantastic snow-covered landscape in winter, close to the venues where countless sport events and entertainment shows are held! The easternmost entry point to the “Schladminger 4-Mountain Ski Area” in ”Ski amadé” is only an 8-10 minute drive away. From one mountain to the next, you can cut fresh tracks through the snow across 125 kilometres of perfectly groomed slopes. You can also try out other slopes included in the ski-pass: the total number of skiable kilometres in the Schladming-Dachstein holiday region amounts to 230. For cross-country skiers, we recommend our neighbouring ski area Ramsau am Dachstein, which can be reached in max. 20 minutes. Horse-sleigh rides, winter treks, sledding, paragliding and ski touring are some alternatives to alpine skiing.

Driving from Salzburg/Schladming: Follow the B320 Ennstal national road (Ennstalbundesstraße) towards Graz/Liezen, turn RIGHT towards “Gössenberg-Bodensee-Seewigtal” (after the exit for “Aich”) and follow the Seewigtal road for about 2 km. Take the first exit left and drive up to the second house on the right side.



Driving from Graz/Linz: Follow the B320 Ennstal national road (Ennstalbundesstraße) towards Salzburg, turn LEFT towards “Gössenberg-Bodensee-Seewigtal” (after the exit for “Aich”) and follow the Seewigtal road for about 2 km. Take the first exit left and drive up to the second house on the right side.

Please note that smoking is not allowed in the apartment. However, you can have a smoke on the balcony and at the same time enjoy a breathtaking view of the Dachstein range and the entire Enn Valley.
